What informs our work together...
Somatic Experiencing™ (SE) is a body-oriented therapeutic model for healing trauma and other stress disorders. It is based on a multidisciplinary intersection of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics and has been clinically applied for more than four decades.
At its heart, Restorative Yoga is about resting. When we fully support the body, we create a space for deep and profound relaxation and rest.
We may use various Restorative Yoga postures to create different physiological and energetic effects.
Full Embodiment: Sexuality and sexual trauma.
Healing sexuality and sexual trauma from an embodied, somatic lens. For those who have experienced sexual trauma as a child, sexual assault as adults, people who struggle with debilitating shame, sexual/gender identity, body image and generally resist being in their bodies.
Non-violent Communication (NVC).
Also called compassionate communication or collaborative communication. NVC is an approach to communication based on principles of nonviolence. It is not a technique to end disagreements, but rather a method designed to increase empathy and improve the quality of life of those who utilize the method and the people around them.
“Tui was a phenomenal coaching partner - The culture in our organisation now sees us move truly as one organism, this has led to some incredible innovations within the business, in both product and process. Our relationships with our clients are stronger, which has led to an increase in repeat customers and a higher average spend. Clients are enamoured with this environment and simply want to be a part of it. We've 'leveled up’.”
